Hello,
Am I correct to assume it is not possible to unlock the sagem MyX1-2Trio? As far as I can tell, the following copy-pasted procedure does not work (my phone is too new...?).
I do not have any "cables" and stuff; I am looking for a "simple" console hack so to speak... Can anyone confirm if this is possible?
Please advise :)
Copy-Paste:
In order to read the RAM and E2P fields 0 and 251 you have to activate the third
hotline menu. To do this, you need to know your IMEI number. If you don't know
it get it in this way: just type "*#06#" into your phone, now it is displayed
(15 numbers, the last one separated by a dash). Write it down, then remove the
first 6 numbers and the last one. Now, type in an asteriks ("*") followed by
those remaining 8 numbers from the IMEI. This way we have activated the second
hotline menu. Enter it by first pressing either the up- or downarrow key like
you do when entering the "normal" menus, but now press the asteriks-key ("*")
and select "RAM" (normaly the second menu). You are asked for a RAM address
("ADR:"); type "112" in there. Then select 2 bytes ("NBR:") for editing. When
the value at RAM address 112 (hex) is displayed (usually 8967 in hex) you have
to press the "OK"-button to change it's value. Press the "C"-button three times
to go to the beginning of the value and replace it with "7698" and confirm with
"OK". Now the third hotline menu is activated.
Press "OK" again to re-enter the RAM menu, but this time select 6 bytes for
editing at address 219. This is your phone ID, please write it down carefully
and exit with "C". Then, select the next menu called "PROM" and choose the first
selection ("READ/WRITE") there. Enter "0" as the field to read; write down it's
value, if it doesn't fit on the display use the down-arrow key to see the rest
(18 digits in total). Repeat this for field 251 (it is 8 digits in length).
Thanx,
Devvie
