I bought the Audiovox 8915 (Virgin Mobile),but i wanna unlock it and use it with another company (from peru). I would like to know the frequency of this cellphone and if there is a way to hack the firmware to make it works with CDMA 800. Thanks and waiting responds.

i have the same problem with my vm 8910 here in peru it is so difficult to do this type of thing you might need to flash the phone, but get into the audiovox page and get the specs.

just write the prl of the company you want to the nam1 and nam2 and it would work perferctly

I enter this code: ##847446. But it only show me 2 options, where do I put the SIS ID AMPS and SIS ID CDMA, cuz I changed the 2 options and now It shows me "Searching System"....
