I've tried using UNICDMA 0.98. I've set baud rate to 115200, put in password for 8900/8910 "010101010101...", and used SKY IM for phone model. It could read the details of the phone but after I set it to mode offline-d, and press write ESN, the phone reboots and "hangs" where it ought to completely reboot.

I've also tried using QXDM but using the "010101..." as password, it says wrong password and the application disconnects from the phone.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated... :)

The password is incorect :-))) try other like (audiovox in hex)

Im pretty sure that after mode offline-d you have to go into DM mode then write esn, security code 0101010101010101 is correct

it does go offline but after attempting to write the "new" esn, the phone begins to reboot (as it should) but hangs immediately afterwards. this is where the problem begins... :(

I disconnect the phone and reboot to check if the ESN was changed; unfortunately it's not. :mad:
