Hi! How You downgrade Your U8120 v102 to v101 without .MAP file?
MAP file is absent in flsah package. :confused:

Trust me it works without the map file! :D

P.S. If babes stalls when the message screens says "unlocking" don't worry just close it, remove/reput the battery from the phone and start up babes again, it will continue from unlocking(where it left off before) and it wil be sim lock free! :D

1) can i unlock u8110 with original usb cable??
2) can i unlock u8110 with modified usb cable??
3) Or i need RS232 (serial port) cable to unlock u8110??
4) For flashing, when you refer to flashing cable (com + usb). Is this a single cable (phyzically connected to each other) or two different cables that are used for flashing.

I'm new to LG stuff that's why i am asking such silly questions :D

@robish robish, you must downgrade the firmware first!!!!!!! Did you read my first post? Use power translator 7 or 8 to translate in your native language if you don't understand what's written!

As unlocking for the LG there's the vygis,redbox, Lg Clip(not v1.02), Griffin ecc..I said FREE unlocking if you've read the topic, and this method does work 100% because till now i've unlocked about 10 of them, check your cable and make sure it's working and furthormore you need the boot.bin file in the same folder as the lg81x0.exe!

What are you talking about????? You can flash and do mods to any phone, samsung's, motorola's(remember V300/V525@v600?), LG's and so forth, from a branded phone to a non branded phone! What's this nonsence about factory version? Please post something more concrete then rubbish! :mad:

You need a modified unlock com cable(buy it from the chemist or completephone sites )+ your original usb cable, once modified you can flash( FlashRW-Multi-LG) and unlock(furioso,Lg-Unlock 81x0 and Griffin server) your LG phone. :D

Remember that it becomes a combined cable once modified, meaning at one end there's the connector to the phone and on the other end there's 2 wires, 1 com & 1 usb(all in 1) ok? Below is the Usb driver inf files to point to during the installation for the usb part of the flashing(done only once) but let's not jump the gun until we're sure that we have a working cable!

second.because i already try only "The Firmware Version" 102->101 or 102->103 long time ago,if "factory version" is 100-101,that's 100% work :D .when "factory version" is 102,this way can't. :confused:

It's strange that the map file for the 8130 is out and not the 8120 one since a version 1.04 just came out it would be very handy :)

I had connected the phone directly to the pc (com port) and had data coming through minus the electronics and the flash program did not work?

There is a easiest way to unlock U8120 v.102, :
1)you can downgrade not the entire firmware at vers. 101, but only the file "drive_c.ssw" with FlashRW and the correct cable in 2 min...
2)Then, you can unlock in few seconds with Babes software. that' all!!!

In this way you don't loose phone configuration such as photos, tel numbers ecc.. and firmware version remain v.102. Bye All!!!

I have an 8120 that I am trying to unlock with babes.

The firmware in the the phone is v105, I have tried to flash the phone to downgrade the firmware but nothing happens ...I cannot get a connection to my phone via the flash program......what am I doing wrong....HELP....

I don't seem to be able to get the flsah program to actually do anything, no data is transferred, what am I doing wrong ? how do I actually use the program etc...
