Try the update from Microsoft's website in the previous link and see if that works.
Phatsacks 20-04-2006, 04:00 WinTorrent doesn't come with instructions, however it's self explanitory:
Install program, and replace .exe on the pda with the new .exe under cracked folder, right? Still shows trial count down for me. Anyone have it working?

djfreake 26-05-2006, 20:00 hey all new to this forum and i have a few apps that some may want just gotta get em zipped up and i will gladly post what i have...but as a brief description i currently have aol for pocket pc...photo contacts pro...tweaks2k2...Voice Command...Rescoe suite...Wisebar suite...SPB suite and a whole bunch more...what im really looking for is im+ for wm5 so if anyone has it and would like to trade or post it id be rather greatful Thanks!

How can I change the prl or read the spc? Can I use my existing software like asura or qpst, to change the prl or do I need new software? What about the spc can I use denso, bitpim or unicdma to read? I'm clueless any help would be appriciated.

frist this isnt the place to be asking for the spc search for
secound there is no free soultion to it for windows
but if you know something about linux
then there is hope

For those interested, here's what I did to get this to work (I've never seen Linux, or heard of Knoppix before this thread, so if there's an easier way, don't hesitate to jump in... I'm sure this could all be put into a script to make it easier)
1. Copy the Linux version of BitPim to your C: drive on your PC.
2. Reboot into Knoppix (assuming you've downloaded it and burned it to a CD.)
3. On the bottom of the Linux gui, click on the penguin guy, and click on "configure", then "set password for root". Set the password to something easy, like "q".
4. Next, navigate in the Linux desktop gui to where you put the bit pim package. Click on it, and it will open "Kpackage", a kind of unzipping program.
5. In Kpackage, navigate to BitPim and click the 'install' button. It will ask for the password you set earlier. (another window will open.. select BitPim again, and the install button. Click "Done" when finished)
6. When finished, click on the Penguin guy on the taskbar again, and choose "Root Shell".
7. Type: modprobe ipaq vendor=0x0bb4 product=0x0b03 <enter>
8. Type: cd /usr/lib <enter>
9. Type: ln -s libtiff.so.4 libtiff.so.3 <enter>
10. Type: cd /ramdisk/usr/bin <enter>
11. Type: chmod a+x bitpim <enter>
12. Type: bitpim (Bitpim should open.)
13. On your phone, go to the phone keypad and type ##diag#
14. Click on "Start" (on the phone) when the app loads up on the phone.
15. In BitPim, go to Edit/Settings
16. Choose "other CDMA phone"
17. In the com port box, type: /dev/ttyUSB3 (hit OK button when done)
18. Click Edit/Detect phone
19. Click View/Filesystem
20. In the Filesystem folder, Navigate to nvm/nvm
21. Right click on the nvm_security, and choose Hex Dump
22. The very first 6 digit # you see in the ascii viewer on the right hand side is your MSL

its not always going to be on USB3 but just open bitpim and click edit settings and click browse and youll see what usb port it is on
if you dont understand then sorry :( no further help i can give you but this does work i use it all the time
i need this software in order to conect my pc to the wireless web, but i dont have the original cd with al the drivers if anyone may send me the link for the proper download, i'll be in eternal debt.:D
this files come in the original cd that is delivered with the unit by sprint, if any of you guys can send me or post these files i can offer any kind of help in xchange.:cool:
