1. After you have downloaded this package and extracted it, don't install the reader named "Merriam-Webster.sis"(it is unregistered). instead, install the the attached reader.

2. You need unmakesis(which is available everywhere e.g. in this forum). open file named "English-English_MWebster_Collegiate.sis" and extract the .prc file and copy it to "E:\system\apps\SlovoedDicts" on your s60 phone(you have to make the last directory by any means: Fileman or your memory reader etc.)

KeypadLock is a small piece of software which all mobile devices should have it installed.
KeypadLock runs as a service on your device and is able to automatically lock the keypad of your device based on the rules you set. This can help you to protect against accidentally keys pressing which could initiate undesired calls or network access. You can unlock the keypad as normally. You can set the inactivity timeout after which the keypad is locked. You can also make use of the extended capabilities of the software. KeypadLock runs in background, makes use of low resources from your device and it can also automatically start without your intervention when the phone is powered-on (autoboot).

- the inactivity timeout can be set/changed.
- you can enable/disable a sound to be played when the keypad is locked.
- you can enable/disable the keypad lock service.

Extended capabilities

A. Just install it and follow the steps given below:

1. Go to themes and choose edit on selected theme.

2. Then scroll down to Screen saver open it, the screensaver you just installed will show up. Select it and exit.

Unfortuneatly, only one screensaver can be used at a time. So when you install a new one the previous installed screensaver will be replaced.

This is a reference implementation of HTTP Internet Radio streaming (Shoutcast) for S60 2nd and 3rd Edition devices. It is intended primarily as a learning tool for the S60 developer community. We also hope to stimulate the creation of innovative S60 audio applications.

The S60 Internet Radio reference application is a fully working example of an audio application developed for the S60 platform. The application supports SHOUTcast streaming audio playback. Currently, MP3 and AAC+ streams are supported.

The application also supports local playback of audio files in the following formats: MP3, AAC, eAAC+, MP4, M4A, WMA, 3GPP, AMR, and WAV. Note that some formats may not be supported on some S60 products. This is dependent on the codecs that are available on specific phone models, and is not a limitation of the reference application.

Overview

iCamCU is a remotely controlled audio, video, telephony and still image recorder. It waits for an SMS to trigger the recording and sends back the information in the form of a multi-media message (MMS.)

iCamCU provides an access control mechanism to prevent unwanted requests.

Pre-requisites
The phone that iCamCU is installed on must be configured to allow the sending of MMS messages, using the default messaging application. Please contact your network operator for assistance.

The client phone(s) must be capable of sending SMS messages and receiving MMS messages. iCamCU does NOT need to be installed on the client phone.

Install iCamCU
When you buy iCamCU over the internet a WAP Push message will be sent to your phone with a URL link to the application module. This allows you to download and install the application by simple key presses, these are the responses for a typical phone,

Go to your inbox and select the iCamCU message
Select the link in the message and use the download option
When requested to connect to server, YES
If you get a security warning ‘can’t verify supplier, continue? YES
Install iCamCU? YES
Install? OK
Install in Phone memory or Card memory? Phone
At this point the installation should be complete.

Run iCamCU
Find the iCamCU icon on your application screen (could be in the My Own folder)
Select the application
The first time you run the application it will go through a registration process indicated on the screen which typically takes about 20 seconds, at the end of this process the camera screen should be displayed,

At this point you will get the settings icons displayed on the screen,

Contrast, Brightness, Zoom, Exposure, Capture Size, Jpeg Quality, Video Size, Flash, Length, Access Permissions, and the Information Log.

These may be adjusted for your particular preference using the left and right keys to select and the up and down keys to change. You should note that Network Operators sometimes limit the size of MMS messages so large images (e.g. greater than 640 x 480) or long Length times for sound may not be allowed. Some phones may not allow all these options to be modified.

Hide iCamCU
You can Hide the iCamCU application by selecting the Hide option. This means that iCamCU operates in background mode so you can select other applications as required. Notice also that iCamCU drops into sleep mode after about 10 seconds of no activity in order to conserve battery life. You should not notice any significant degradation of battery life in your phone.

Access iCamCU
From a standard MMS enabled phone (most modern phones have this) compose an SMS message to the number of the phone on which you have installed iCamCU and in the subject field enter,

ivid to request a video as selected by the length setting in options
irec to request a sound recording as selected by the length setting in options
imov to initialise motion detection
The iCamCU phone will receive the SMS message, obey the instruction and send to this phone an MMS message containing the photo, video, or sound clip. You should find this in the MMS inbox on your phone.

Configuring iCamCU
From the Options menu, select Settings. iCamCU will display a list of icons across the top of the screen. To navigate these items use the left and right arrow keys. To change the settings under a particular selection, use the up and down arrow keys.

Please note that these options depend on the capabilities of your phone. For example, still-image capture size settings will only present those options that your camera hardware allows.

Access Control
Access control can be configured under the Settings menu. There are three options available.

Allow Everyone: iCamCU will process requests originating from any phone.

Contacts Only: iCamCU will only process those requests which originate from a number present in your phone's contact database.

iCamCU Group Only: iCamCU will only process those requests which originate from a number present in the ICAMCU group (folder) in your phone's contact database.

iCamCU automatically generates this group when it is launched. To add or remove entries from this group please use your phones default contacts management application.

To choose the way of playing the folder choose Settings>How play list and select the appropriate mode: Play track, Play list, Loop track, Loop playlist, Randomize.

How to use Equalizer

* Press right hardware button and choose "Equalizer" or select the button "EQ".
* 3 independent equalizers are switched on/off by hardware buttons 1, 2, 3 or you may assign other buttons.
* To change center frequency or amplitude hold "Pen" and move equalizer by joystick.
* To enlarge bandwidth hold "Pen" and press the Joystick.
* To constrict bandwidth hold "Pen" and press "C" button.
* If you edit one equalizer and want to switch to other equalizers press left software button. The equalizer which is editing is marked by "Eq x editing" and all others as "Eq edit". Choose the required equalizer and start to edit it.
* While editing equalizers you may manage playback or switch to playlist by pressing the right software button.
* Now Player saves your presettings for equalizer. You may adjust playback as you want and don't use equalizer at the next time.

P.S - This is a Trial version with only 6 days of Trial. To use Phone Reminder you should start the application and configure the needed option (select reminder sound you like, volume, repeate interval,etc) and then activate it. When Phone Reminder service is activated there is no need to keep Best Phone Reminder application opened. You can close it not to waste your device memory.

Options:

State. Shows if the Phone Reminder service is working currently or not.
Remind period. If you have missed call or new sms and you didn't hear the initial sound (and didn't check a missed call or a message) then Phone Reminder will show "You have" window and will play alarm after specified time passed and will repeat alarm with specified interval until you notice it.
Alarm. The application will play selected sound in order to bring your attention to a missed call or a message.
Alarm Volume. Volume or played alarm sound.
Time restriction. Of course it would be highly annoying when you receive a message at night and Phone Reminder notifies you about it the whole night. That's why you can set up period when the application is allowed to notify you only (set "Time restriction" to 'yes' and in "Start time" and "End time" fields fill in the period when the application is allowed to notify you).
Switch to phone. If this option is selected in then Phone Reminder will immediately switch to the Phone application right after you have received a message or got a missed call.

Behind the screen

If silent profile is activated in your system then Phone Reminder shows "You have" window and turns on backlight only (doesn't play alarm) when it's time to notify.
The application service comes with an autostart feature, it means that after the system restarts you don't have to activate the service again. If it was activated before the system restart it will be started automatically.
You can select any reminder tone, using any preferred sound file. When selecting a reminder tone the possibility to preview the sound is provided automatically.

There’s a scene in the classic film “Alien” where the crew of the Nostromo piece together a motion tracking device so they can attempt to discover where the Xenomorph is without getting eaten. It’s a nice piece of kit, but in the modern world of smartphones, a bit unnecessary, because they could have easily used Ingraal’s BlueRadar application instead.

BlueRadar allows you to see when Bluetooth enabled devices come into range of your phone, and it does this in a very nice interface and with some good usability touches. It allows you to keeps a log of the names of all the Bluetooth devices that have ever come into range of your phone. Finding those devices is a matter of discovering the devices in the same way as you normally pair them, or manually entering someone’s Bluetooth ID directly. Any Nokia phone should display this with *#2820#.

Another interesting touch is that BlueRadar will be able to see a Bluetooth device that is in ‘un-discoverable’ mode, as long as the Bluetooth functionality is physically turned on.

Blue RadarSo where could BlueRadar be useful? Personally, I’m thinking conferences, where you have arranged to meet someone. Punch up your Bluetooth ID and send (SMS) this to whoever you’re meeting. You could build up a list of “interesting” people you need to bump into, and you’ll be safe in the knowledge that while you’re walking the floor if you get close then you’ll get an alert. Actually that might be a worthwhile feature to add to BlueRadar, the ability to read and send an SMS of your Bluetooth ID code to someone in your Contacts.

Ingraal make another number of suggestions, including meeting people at airports and clubs, or having a good old game of hide and seek. It’s one of these applications that gives you functionality and leaves you to make the best use of it. How about locating a wayward child in a supermarket (just smuggle the old 3650 into their back pocket)?

Blue RadarIt’s worth pointing out that, obviously, Blue Radar is not directional, even though there’s a lovely sweeping blue radar screen. You’ll simply get an ‘in range’ warning, but with that 10 metre (ish) range of the radio transmitter you should(!) be able to look around and find the person holding the device – or you’ll be within “Are you here, Rafe?” shouting range! Of course the standard ‘safe’ practice everyone recommends is to leave Bluetooth turned off, for battery and security/nuisance reasons, which if followed would pretty much negate BlueRadar’s effectiveness.

BlueRadar does what it sets out to do, and does it in a friendly way. Whether the functionality is something that you actually need, or can make use of, is another question entirely. It’s cute, and I’m sure a handful of people will regard it as a godsend – pupils at school able to tell when the teachers are approaching for example – but for the rest of us (and myself) I was left feeling that the application has been written because they could, not because it was needed.

1、Phone call management

* Reject all incoming calls. In this mode, all of the incoming call will be automatically rejected. It can be used in the time when a user does not want to be disturbed (for example, when a user is driving a car or having a meeting)
* Accept only recognized call. In this mode, all of the unknown calls will be rejected; those recognized calls (names are already stored in the phonebook/contacts) will be not affected.
* Reject calls from blacklist。In this mode, all of the calls from the predefined blacklist will be automatically rejected, whereas the rest of the calls will not have any effect. An end user can make use of "Manage Lists" function to create the needed blacklist. This can be used in the situation when a user does not want to be harassed from some people.
* Accept call from whitelist. In contrast to the previous one, in this mode, mobile only accept calls from the predefined whitelist. All of the other calls from non-whitelist will be automatically rejected. An end user may use "Manage Lists" function to create the needed whitelist.
* Personalized call rejection. In this mode，an end user may define personalized call rejections for each of the members in the "Specific List". A user may select "Reject call", "Reply by SMS" or "Greeting" options to reject calls. A user may use "Manage Lists" to create his/her "Specific list".

2、SMS management

* "Call Manager" can help to manage the SMS messages in the mobile phone to make the needed messages visible or invisible in the "Inbox/Sent" of the Nokia "Messaging" application. In this case, a user can hide the sensitive information even your phone is lost, or the user does not want to share the information with others.
* An end user may create his/her "Baby list" using "Call Manager". Once the "Baby list" has been set up, in the next start-up of "Call Manager", it will automatically scan all of the existing short messages. If a message is to from the "Baby list", then messages will be automatically hidden. In addition, it can also automatically hide the short messages from "Baby list" if it is running. This will eventually protect the user's privacy since others cannot view the SMS without supplying a correct password. A user can set his/her password in "Active mode". When an SMS from "Baby list" comes in the mobile phone icon on the top-left corner of the screen will keep blinking until the user has entered the "Manage SMS" / "Call Records" area using "Call Manager".

3、Phone call log management

* All of the phone call records from "Baby list" will be automatically hidden. A user can ONLY view the phone call record by inputting a correct password.
* When a call from one of the member in the "Baby list" comes in, if it is not answered, then a small "mobile phone icon" will keep blinking until the user enters either "Manage SMS" or "Call Records" area with a correct password provided.

4、Phone call recording
Whenever a call has been establish (in whichever user interface), if a user wants to record the caller's voice (for example, please tell me your phone number or your home address, then I can record it down), the user just simply needs to simultaneously press "ABC" key(on which has a pen icon) and "+" key, "Call Manager"will automatically invoke the "Recorder" application in S60 to record the telephony voice. As such, t the caller's voice and the user's voice will be recorded simultaneously. A user may the functions from the recorder to "Stop", "Pause" or "Continue" to record the voice. Note：For those S60 phones, which has the "QWERTY" keyboard layout，a user needs to use "CTRL+A" key combination to activate the telephony voice call recording. Currently, Nokia S60 E61 has the keyboard layout.

5、Automatic call rejection
When this function is used, all of the incoming calls will be automatically rejected. If the caller uses a mobile phone to make the call,then the caller may receive a customized SMS message. This is especially useful when a user does not want to be disturbed; however,he/she still wants the caller to get some information about the callee. A user may choose an SMS template like "I am driving call"or "I am having a meeting now, please do not disturb me"as a reply.

6、Automatic removal of the SMS message from the blacklist
A user may define his/her own "SMS Blacklist". In this case, all of the SMS from the blacklist will be automatically removed when the SMS message come in. This function is very useful when a user does not want to receive those harass SMS messages or advertisement SMS messages.

7、Keyboard autolock
A user may define a time interval for "Autolock time interval"。When keyboard is not used within the time, then "Call Manager" will help to lock the keyboard automatically.

8、Quick key lock function
Except the time when a call is established, no matter whichever user interface a user is currently in, the user may simultaneously press "ABC" key(on which there is a pen)and "+" key to activate the quick key lock function. The benefit of this function is that a user does not to switch to the "Idle screen" in order the lock the keyboard. Another benefit of this function is that it can help us to quickly lock whichever screen.Note：1) For some of the S60 phones, when this quick key lock function is activated, after key lock is deactivated in the active idle screen, a user may not see the left/right soft keys in the screen. If this happens, a user may press any of the numeric keys in the phone to recover this situation, or a user may choose to use the S60 standard way ("left soft key" + "+" key) to activate the key lock function since this ONLY happens in the active idle screen 2) For those S60 phones, which have the "QWERTY" keyboard layout, a user must use "CTRL+A" key combination to activate the telephony voice recording。Currently, Nokia E60 uses the keyboard.

1. Transfer and install application.
2. You will have two application icons (CallMan and CallMKey).
3. Run CallMKey and you will get correct code for registration.
4. Run CallMan and register with code from prevision point.

Functionality

Interpreting Signing Error Messages in S60 3rd Edition


Message: Certificate error. Contact the application supplier.

Hint: You may have tried installing unsigned application. Note that signing is mandatory S60 3rd Edition. You can use self-signed certificate or developer certificate from Symbian Signed to sign your application.

Message: Unable to install. Constrained by the certificate.

Hint: This message pops up when you attempt to install developer certificate in the unsupported device. The developer certificate from Symbian Signed can only be used in a limited number of devices. Remember that you have to send your IMEIs to Symbian Signed when requesting certificate. You cannot use the certificate in other devices that is not in your IMEIs list.


Message: Required application access not granted.

Hint: Check that your certificate can be used to sign all capabilities needed by your application. For example, if you use self-signed certificate, you can only sign basic set capabilities, i.e. NetworkServices, ReadUserData, WriteUserData, LocalServices and UserEnvironment. If your application requires one of the extended capabilities, for example SwEvent, you cannot sign it with self-signed certificate. In this case, apply for developer certificates from Symbian Signed.


Message: Unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier.

Hint: If you use self-signed certificate, make sure that your application uses unprotected UID, i.e. 0xA0000000 - 0xAFFFFFFF. If you use protected UID (0x20000000 - 0x2FFFFFFF) or legacy UID (0x10000000 - 0x1FFFFFFF), you will get this message.


Message: Unable to install.

Hint: This message may come up when your installation file (.sis/.sisx) copies files to other application's private folder, i.e. \private\uid. Note that Symbian 9 introduces data caging concept, it means you don't have access to other application's private folder.


In case of expired certificate...
Do this...
Set the phone date back by 7-8months...
Than install the app...
After doing that reset the date back to routine...

If still the problem is present...
In that case your cert has expired...
Get a new cert from symbian signed...
As the cert got from symbiansigned are valid only for 6months...

I got some files but they are either "Expired Certificate, Trail Versions or Not Supported by my N73"

So i want the mentioned applications(full Versions) of both.
