Instructions for Basic NAM Programming: Using PCS Connection

Bring up the keyboard and tap "Ctl" and then tap "d"
Tap "##debug" (without quotes), tap "OK"
Tap "Advanced", then Tap "Modem Configuration"
Tap in "nozirevpst" if you have Watcher Installed Already
Tap "000000" (without quotes) when asked for the "Service Programming Code"
Tap "CDMA-2"
Tap the numbers to the right of "Directory"
Tap your phone number in.
Double-Tap the top leftmost number under "SID" (ask your carrier for your SID)
Tap in your SID in box to the right of "SID"
Tap in "65535" (without quotes) in the box to the right of "NID"
Tap "OK"
Tap "System" tab
Tap next to 'Preferred Servinf System", Change option to "Home Preferred"
Tap next to "Preferred Mode", change to "Cellular CDMA Only"
Tap "M.IP-2" tab (only available in Sprint PCS Connection)
Tap next to "Mobile IP Behavior", Change to "Simple IP Only" (only available in Sprint PCS Connection)

I've tried The Basic Instructions as your email on two 2032SP units, Only one was worked, the other one was failed. Seems that I don't have the Watcher because I can't Tap in either "nozirevpst" nor "000000" for Service programming code, Or, there should be another Password. Does Any body know ? ...

Are you using Sprint service? try OTA programming.

forgiveness, I don't explain condition from Thera , that sprint upgrade to Verizon .. although have in hard reset thera remain to on course Verizon,

I surprise how this can while most of all upgrading from sprin to verizon will return normal become sprint after hard reset.

I know many people have asked this here before, but does anyone have software to change the ESN on the 2032 PDA ? Please post, or priv me if you dont want to post.

Surely someone has figured out something additional on this phone where changing the ESN or expanding its functionality is concerned. How about making the Sierra Wireless card compatible with 802.11. Sierra says that's not possible on their site, which means someone should have felt challenged to prove them wrong. :)

But overall, I would just be happy with being able to change the ESN. Anybody out there?

try to upgrade sprint to verizon (not permanent) try to seach... (or try to find in else Forum PDA) for instruction to upgrade it.
until upgrade u can open advanced setting for security code 979797

I hopethis is the right thread to post this, it seems to be the most active thread for the 2032 phone.

I recently aquired a sprint, 2032sp by toshiba (audiovox). It works great bu I do not have phone service yet. I prefer to use pay as you go phones to avoid contracts. Does anyone here have any suggestions on how to convert this phone into a pay as you go phone?

I know that Verizon has the Inpulse pay as you go plan.
I know that 7-eleven offers a plan using CDMA sanyo phones and the Sprint PCS network.
I know that Boost Mobile won't work because it's an Iden based set-up.

Any ideas? Can you give me a starting place as to what I will need to adjust on the phone (a link to the info on this forum perhaps).

I have since purchased a verizon thera. It accepts OTA just fine and everything works great until the watcher is shut down. All the new OTA settings are saved except for ONE, the imsi_s (I think that's it, I am not near the phone at the moment).

Some people say that its a hardware problem. But there HAS to be a way to permenantly change that setting so it doesn't revert back to the previous setting. Could this be done with pst?

My simple fix is to do the OTA and then never turn off the modem. You can still use the pda as normal, just don't turn off the modem or close its window or it will "initialize" and lose that setting.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem with that single setting not being saved properly?

Aftet an OTA is there a special button to press to make sure all the data is saved? On most phones you need to press "enter" but there is not an enter button on the thera. Could that be a problem (OTA needs that final button press)?

Perhaps the watcher program can be hacked to never initialize the modem.... Thus not reseting the data?

in Thera 2032 u can't find manual setting for input Akey..

how to put akey :
1. Connect to Serial Not USB
2. DM using Universal PST close this when deteck
3. in PDA try UPST
4. Open CDMA_Worshop klik conect, close Universal PST Before klik connek
5. Put SPC
6. Write Akey in tab Security
7. Reset..
