Hi,

While I was working with QPST V2.7 build 215 , and I messed up my Treo 650 (CDMA) sprint version RF NV Item. I was hoping if some has copy of the Original Treo 650 RF NV Files ( Save to qcn) that can be made available. The messed up unit behave erratically with signal reception. Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi !

How do you connect treo to PC ?
I have Treo 700w from Verizon, but I can't connect it to PC like Phone it connects only like PDA, there is no such driver for this phone.

So I can't program it with QPST there is no available port for phone (as it connects like PDA) , and by entering codes it let me do just short programming.

Any body had treo 650 cdma qcn save using kwpst as attached ? This might help restoring the phone to original condition before I mess it up. Any help is highly appreciated.

Attached is the kwpst ver 3.8. Should rename kwpst1.zip to kwpst.z01.... etc

Please check followings link you will need:

Treo USB Sync cable
USB-Serial Adapter cable that are based on Prolific PL2303 chip for 3.3V signal
bimpm,
kwpst or QPST

if you need to restore your Treo 650 first you need to back up all your important data and then go to palm website and download the update for your treo and run it you should have the latest software version for you treo and it should fix your problem. Good luck

if you want to connect your Treo to your computer as a phone you need to use Serial cable for it here is the picture about the pinout of the Treo

Try updating with the new sprint 1.13a updater, and the checking with QPST V2.7 Build 215, using RF NV Item Manager to read from the phone, and the data is not changed by ROM update. Apparently rom update only changes the palm os and the PRL list only. Anybody here have treo 650 CDMA with QPST 2.7 build 215 and serial data cable, can help by reading using RF NV Item manager and save as qcn file. This should save the RF parameter of the radio.
