Please can anybody help me with Audiovox PPC 6600 (xv6600) phone driver? Either USB or Serial?
Because the phone is not getting connected to PC, Activesync only can make PDA connection, not the Phone section. I tried to install wmodem, but as my phone is not active in network, i cannot make it, So only a driver for phone in USB or Serial will help to make phone recognise to PC. Ithink it is present in its Software CD, but i dont have that also. PLease if any body has from CD or other please post it, it would be a great help.:)
Regards

Try this modem drivers, you need first disconnect activesync, then put phone in modem mode by Program -> Wmodem, when modem is detected, use drivers attached.

Thanks kshah, But when I try to run 'wmodem' application from pda it says 'not registered to network'. As it is not connected to any network. So it fails. (my purpose is to change its esn, for that i need the phone to get detected by the pc so that it can be programmed with unicdma or qpst or something like that). So i think only a serial/usb driver only can help.

why dont you try with serial cable. Ofcourse I do not know about this, but may be with serial cable you can do some thing.

yes i tried with serial cable, but none of the software (unicdma, audesn, Qpst, and some other also) did work, it seems that the software cannot access the phone, as the phone driver is not loaded in the pc. The pc shows it only as Pocket PC, the phone part is not accessed by pc.
