How I unlock the SCH-I830 VERIZON ?????? :confused:

How I unlock the codes ? How I change the IMEI and the ESN ??? :confused:

i have this phone for sprint and i'd love to know how to do this as well.

im guessing repairing the esn needs a special data cable like the 700P/WX.

i'd also love to see cingular/t-mobile working on this phone... and not only european gsm carriers.

i got the samsung i730 and its the same thing of the i830.....

so go into samsung cdma SAMSUNG I730 Change Careir, i wrote this one weeks ago!

i have put my sprint ip-830w into DM mode and still.. the nvm folder is locked.

yeah only reset phone, then read with that unicdma is not necesary this unicdma with unicdma 0.98 you can read spc too, I used baud rate 57600 may be your sch-i830 baud rate is 115000.

try with 57600 and I hope to help you.

Hi I was wondering if you could explain how to do this step by step for a newb please? I have a friend who needs to get it working for Australia with a SIM card for that area and he is stuck as well in terms of how to get it to work. Thanks so much.

I tried many way and A900 code but I couldn't find i830 spc.I tried by using BitPim ,UniCDMA 0.98,CDMA workshop and samA90 Code.exe

Please Help

Instructions I used, found on this site.

#1 varies, it depends on what software is on the phone. These are sprint specific, but it works. I used CDMA workshop to change PRL

1. Enter ##8778# and select "USB modem"
2. In UniCDMA click on Setup, select Custom password: 0000000000000000
3. Select Samsung A460, click read.
4. Select Qualcom, click read, change SPC to 000000, click write.

Done! SPC is reset to 000000

OK, i read a lot of threads but im not sure if all the info is not in the correct place, i try everything i read to unlock my i830 but I keep not able to unlock this phone, need to really have a good answer with a good explanation. The sch-i830 of sprint is the one i have.

by the way, im new just want to say hi evry one

I strongly suggest some more in depth reading until you understand what everything means and y0u are comfortable with what you are doing.
