I have a ppc 6700 that wont boot. All I get on the screen is "serial ver 1.0" and it is stuck there. Also, I tried the hard reset, got to the clear all data question. Then, phone reboots and still stuck @ "serial ver 1.0". I am assuming I have a full rom flash, but cant seem to find any update or full rom files. any ideas? Thank you.

so your stuck in bootloader mode...ok

since your already in bootloader....go ahead and try to reflash with the latest rom update from [Only Registered Users Can See Links] .....just try to do this to get ya phone back alive! then...go ahead and flash a custom rom...

hold the power button + memo button + and use stylus to reset in order to enter bootloader mode....

also...are you using an xp machine or vista? cause i know flashes don't work on vista (well...it does...but requires a couple of annoying and quite honestly unnceccsary procedures)....

once you stick it the usb port to computer the screen on your ppc should change to "USB"....if you have that then your clear for a flash
