View Full Version : How to make audiovox XV6600 to accept SIM or to make RUIM enabled

i have an audiovox xv6600 which has a slot for SIM but no contact pads, and i want to make that SIM enabled.i was looking for some solution when i got a post by kshah that could have helped me but that has been deleted now.

i am not professional and infact new to this.so can any one give me step by step instructions on how to do it as i am scared that i will make my phone dead.i got files downloaded from the post which are:

EnterBL
GetDeviceData
itsutils.dll
MaUpgradeUt_noID
radio_.nbf
RUU.dll

so i am looking for the correct order/process so that i can flash the phone.

So please help me out.

Try flashing it by opening MaUpgradeUt_noID.ext.

It is said that your phone get locked if you do not change SPC to 000000

I dont know ways to know SPC of 6600. If it is verizon it is always 6600, sprint uses SPC specific for each ESN,

and maybe also need xv6600 drivers to activate ruim with PST.

thanks for replying to my query.

i haven't registered the ESN with TataIndicom. so if i convert the phone to RUIM then would i need to register or just putting in SIM card would do all the programming.

I have one 6600 coverted to ruim by china seller has not jumbers, just RUIM socket soldered. one of my freind tried to flash nom ruim phone with cu 928 radio rom but he says no change. Can you give PST drivers?

Hi all,
Audiovox XV6600 not recognized neither by QPST nor cdma workshop via USB.
I need to make it available for local CDMA provider. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
