how can i find the a-key from the 6800? i tried ##akey# and you need the MSL (which i have) and i tried to just view it and there is nothing in the field. i also used the ##diag# command and read the phone in cdma workshop and it wont read the a-key. my evdo works on the phone, but here is the reason i'd like to get this...

i cloned my samsung m250 to my 6800 esn and i have working vision, calls and texts but to get evdo working, it is my understanding that you have to have the ESN and A-key be the same on the phone. do you also have to have the MSL (SPC) code be the same too?

do those things even have anything to do with ev-do? and i never tried to write over my 6800 ESN, but the technique to do so from QPST doesnt work because of it being unable to read the nvm folder. i appears to be locked.

To Check AAA and ppp Profiles I Just Tried to open NVM folder but can not see any files inside it. How did you changed the E*SN is the same 6700 method works. i was using QPST 2.15 Build 263 and Build 215 with 6700 which Works nice i also have converted 6700 into RUIM Based Phone by SOldering RUIM Tray Behind the Battery Covers

i never changed the ESN of my 6800. i changed the ESN of my M250 to the ESN of my 6800.

about the drivers, i installed the ones from the Sprint Connection Manager for the 6700. i dont know if i needed them or not, but ##DIAG# put the phone in diagnositc mode.

any help with getting the a-key from this device?

hi every one, maybe someone can rewrite these programs that came with the rom update that change the spc code?

maybe when sprint release 6800 drivers u can connect phone and nvm folder will be accessible?

If it is changing the SPC then what is that SPC, Becuase it must be a Universal SPC inside it i think.

the 6800 rom update is available. isnt there software in there that could allow someone to modify esn or maybe edit a few things so that it would change the esn when you update rom?

@ hpnasik - that was the first thing i using before posting here and i can't access the A-KEY.

@ tanpisto - i installed the drivers from the 6700 and they work because i can access the phone using ##DIAG# but certain information is still unaccessible.

the following Command

nvm_write esn {0xAABBCCDD} (This is the Command for Changing the ESN using Serial Port)

Before shooting this Command We must First Send SPC and Password of ROM but when i do that in Qualcomm QxDM that returns the Error

nvm item is readonly.

I am looking for the driver of Mogul HTC PPC-6800. Does anyone have it? I know you will say, it was posted before... look it up. Honestly, I looked for it on this forum and other forums for long hours but I did not find it.

6700 drivers does not work on 6800 as serial. it works only as usb driver. If you have the 6800 drivers, please share them if you have them.

Does anyone know where I can download the 6700 drivers. Ive spent all day yesterday and another little bit today and I cant find anything. The links I did find where either expired or didnt exist anymore. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thanks

well I have a 6800 with working evdo i plan to copy the mentioned settings earlier in the thread over to a 6700 to see if I can get some evdo working on it.

I'll post the results later. should be easy.

Heres where im at, id appreciate if someone can help me with the last part.

Im cloning my mogul to my v9m's esn. i went through the first part and the second part , i have written the v9ms esn into the mogul. when the mogul is reset it boots with the radio disabled. when the radio is enabled it doesnt search for towers. i guess my problem is the "MIN / MDN / SID / NID / PRL" part. The MDN wont change I dont think but do i need to change these numbers to those of my v9m? if so where can i find them?

this is more complicated than the a900.. id really appreciate some help.

dammit when i updated the rom the SPC got changed on me...

what's the quick and easy answer to get the new SPC?

IT's funny, I wanted the GPS and faster rev a.
And so i took a chance on updating the blacklisted mogul. It upgraded, and the Evdo still works.

I tried the method in the link.. it doesn't work for the mogul.

update: i'm retarded. lol. used getspc. the first time i ran it, i just hit "Go"
and got the spc. after the gps update, i would have to manually enter the
hex esn.. and it gave me the new SPC.
