Try using this, is not as fast as bitpim but it should work, I've been using bitpim with 7025 with no problem maybe your problem is with your cable. You should check if windows device manager is seeing your phone if it is set the same port in the app and it should work. Good luck.

I haven't been able to get this phone to read through anything, what cable are you using?

I'm using AUD7025DICU cable. You can also use data cable for LG VX6000, the cables P/N is LG-DCL200C, try to use any of these two with charger connected to cable, both of there cables are USB and work OK. Tell me if this helps.

You might try going to: [Only Registered Users Can See Links]
To find the drivers that you are looking for..
I hope that this helps, if not google drivers for UTStarcom CDM7075.

Gflow I'm not sure what you mean by which program to use to open what file:confused:. If you are talking about the driver file, it downloads as a zip file. Then you just have to double click on it off of your destop to install the file;). If this done correctly you should have a shortcut on your desktop:). Then you should be able to connect your phone to the data cable, the data cable to the usb port and you computer should recognize your phone:p. I hope that this answered your question and helped.:D

Gflow I wish i had the answer how to access the Easy CDMA.rar file.:( The only thing I could suggest is do a google search for opening the easy cdma.rar file:confused: Other than that I'm at a loss, everyone just seems to want to know how to open the file on this phone. To be honest I really don't know what to tell you. I hope that I have given you some idea of where to look:).

I am using a Datapilot LGA USB cable (it works with datapilot with their drivers), but I don't think their drivers will read/write the 7075 file system.

So on a seperate computer I have installed UTStarcomCDMAHandsetUSBDrv.zip, this recognizes the 7075 and creates 3 entries in Device Manager (see attachment) , But I can not get BITPIM, EASYCDMA (v1.96) or CDMA Workshop(v2.1.1) to do almost anything, I have tried using the Modem com port (com4) and the Handset Diagnostic serial port (COM7), but can't get it to read ESN or any info from from phone, CDMA workshop doesn't time out on the Main read (using COM4) but nothing shows up in the display. AT commands work to COM7.

I used CDMA workshop with a 7025 and the Audiovox drivers and it worked , I read the file system (the SPC is in NVM_0002) with no trouble.

Anybody have any ideas how to use CDMA Workshop or a better program to read up the 7075's file system/memory?

After another try of programming the 7075, I was able to connect to it with both EasyCDMA, and CDMA Workshop. I used Datapilot cable LGA (LG 6000 compatible), using either the Susteen/Datapilot driver (USB_SamsungH_Install.exe) or the UTStarComUSB drivers posted here.

You must use the PORT com port, not the modem com port (the driver actually installs three instances of the device, Modem, Port, & USB).

The MSL/SPC can be read from nvm/nvm_002 & CDMA workshop will send it(to get permission) and write it(to update it after you send it).

Alas once I got done programming it (cleared the Verizon SPC, and I updated the PRL so I could run on Cricket) and testing it on several different computers.
At some point, I became unable again to do anything other than connect to the com port, I couldn't read back any data. The phone works fine with my updates. This looks like the original problem I had with several of these phones.

I suspect I must do something to put the handset in data mode, but I don't know what. Anybody else know?

just in case this can help here is the best way to read the spc code in this model:
1rs-just put this dll to your universal pst. how: go to C:\Program Files\InfoSOFT\Universal PST\Plugins and just unzip it and droop it there,
2d- use serial cable(vx1200 or vx6000)
3r- open universal pst and it will detect the phone right away, close upst.
4r- open bitpim nvm002 and there is the spc code.
5- write prl with qpst service programming.
enjoy and dont forget to say the magic word: thanks.
