hey there im havin trouble using vygis (lg 3g workshop) to unlock my lg u8120... im stuck at the part where it says "please power on phone"... first of all, my phone is definitely ON with the WORKING sim in it (3G).. i dont know what i should do at this point.. i keep changing the port to see if it works but nothing... theres this USB option that doesnt seem to function at all... yea im out of ideas anyone got any advice? thanks in advance

with what kind of cable are you trying to unlock it?you will need either com cable to use with com1 or com2 either usb-serial but for U8110(20).Write what are you using and I will try to help you ;)

you have to do it without the sim card an phone turned off. With the phone turned off Connect the phone to the cable without the sim card and click connect phone on the application, and the you press the power key on the phone

No, you cannot unlock with cable supplied with phone, you need to buy Com cable.
you have to attach it with ur computer Port having 9 Pins Socket. 5pins in the upper row and 4 pins in the lower row.

if you cannot find com cable for ur phone, you can buy Crusier/Se-TOOL/Pinky cable set, it comes with USB2COM converter+5 cables, One of them will be for ur phone (LG).
THIS YOU CAN CONECT WITH USB PORT, install drivers and use software.
