That's strange. I have a post paid account myself and the online switcher worked for me first try. I had thought that Verizon changed their no prepay phones with post paid policy again but it seems not. There are only a few things I can think of that made me able to do it. 1) I switched from a non EVDO phone to another non EVDO phone 2) I used the A000000 code to activate the blitz online, and that was the same sort of code I used to activate the phone I switched from. Verizon can be picky about switching from a hex code to a A000000 code online, some of the older phones have a hex number you activate the phone with it's like 7-8 letters and numbers and not the newer A000000 code system 3) I switched from a Moto W385 prepay phone, which I activated before Verizon banned prepay phones on post paid accounts. Once it's in the system you can always switch back to it.

More than likely I think it's because I switched from one prepay phone to another. There are three things you can try. Dial *228, there is now an option 3 to activate a phone maybe that would work, more of a pain but an idea, if you know anyone that is using a prepay phone with their post paid account and you have a spare phone or they do let them activate the spare phone on their account and activate their phone on your account and then try to activate the blitz online. Then lastly, is calling up Customer Service and say the online changer isn't working for you can you please activate the phone, without saying it's prepaid, if they are nice they will change it for you if it's possible for them to do so anymore. Good luck!

Verizon has an ESN switcher on its website now, just get a super cheap
old verizon phone, and change to the prepay esn, with their online utility as stated above.
:)

If that doesn't work, take it to any verizon store, they are obligated now to allow any cdma phone that meets "minimum technical standards" on their post paid network...
