Hey guys
please help me out on this one, my phone is messed.
I was usiing bitpim to put a wallaper on my phone, i was stupid and saved the file in the camera pictures folder. Now my phone wont turn on. It just restarts it self.. It says "Restoring user data" then restarts, and it never get's past that screen. My phone is locked to the Telus Network. Can anyone help me.. Telus refused to repair it.

try this wen the phone pwr on, put **1005 for dlw sw mode.these maybe put thephone in donlodmode andthen try to put the bin whit pst.i hope work

**1004 is for dm mode

Unified PST would never detect what port my phone is on because it always resetted itself. Windows itself had trouble detecting the usb cable becasue the phone kept turning on and off, More instructions on how to use the software u just gave me would be very very apprecaited.Thanks A MILLION Again for your help

SELECT EFS ERASE DOW BOTTON ,TRY TO PWR THE PHONE MANY TIMES ,MUST BE APAERSS A "DOG.C".NEXT THE SW SAY "SAFE FIRMWARE REBUILDING" WAIT TO FINISH AND READY YOUR PHONE MUST BE OK.

THESE WAY FIX TWO 8600 NOW MUST BE THE SAME

YOU MUST USE SERIAL CABLE/IF YOU HAVE USB WHIT CONVERTER TO SERIAL SELECT THE APROPIATED COM

AND PLESE SAY ME IT WORKS :D

SLIDER SE47 CABLE WORK FOR YOU TOO.OR ORIGINAL FOR 8900 BUT MUST BE SERIAL OR UST TO SERIAL,NOT USB DIRECT

I ordered a USB to Serial converter off the net,. it should be here in 10days or so.
I will let you know how it goes once it gets here
