I have had a Q for a while now and it's been pretty good to me. It takes a lot of abuse and gets a lot of jobs done. My wife just got a Touch and my first thought was "Wow! That's sexy! I want one!" So... I bought one on eBay. Now, while I'm waiting for mine to come, I have been playing with hers (the phone!). It has WM6.1 and a 300-something mhz processor. My Q has old, old WM on it and a 200-something mhz processor.
The first thing that caught my eye was the lack of a keyboard. The touch screen seems to work pretty well, though, so I thought I might still give it a shot. Then I loaded TCPMP. The thing runs like a pig. Movies that stream with room to spare on my Q aren't even viewable on the touch. I tried playing with the buffer settings, but nothing changes anything. And I never changed any of the settings from default on my Q. Then I noticed that the screen doesn't seem to have the resolution that my Q does. The menus aren't as crisp and the letters are more "pixely."
Are these things just my imagination, or is it possible that the Q is better?
