AUDIOVOX CDM8912 SP

Hi Members:
I have a 8912 in searching system, i programed sid, download prl with CDMA WORKSHOP but cant change band operation (PCS to 850) with this program, i try read with QPST 2.7 Build 215 but show : phone model SURF5200-PT not supported.
Somebody can send a version of QPST what support this model? Thanks

This version cant support this model surf5200pt, you know what program support change band for this model? Thanks

What carrier prl are you loading? Part of the prl is to intruct the phone to connect to the assigned bandwidth of that carrier and your location. Keep in mind that carriers like VZW has three modes on their network, 1900pcs, 800/850cdma, 800analog. So the location of the phone might be 1900pcs, hence the pcs channel (925). If you try to force feed the channel to 850, you will get roaming on your phone. So if you must have the 850, load a different carrier prl that you know is operating 850 where the phone is at.
