Try using this, is not as fast as bitpim but it should work, I've been using bitpim with 7025 with no problem maybe your problem is with your cable. You should check if windows device manager is seeing your phone if it is set the same port in the app and it should work. Good luck.

I'm using AUD7025DICU cable. You can also use data cable for LG VX6000, the cables P/N is LG-DCL200C, try to use any of these two with charger connected to cable, both of there cables are USB and work OK. Tell me if this helps.

Gflow I'm not sure what you mean by which program to use to open what file. If you are talking about the driver file, it downloads as a zip file. Then you just have to double click on it off of your destop to install the file. If this done correctly you should have a shortcut on your desktop. Then you should be able to connect your phone to the data cable, the data cable to the usb port and you computer should recognize your phone. I hope that this answered your question and helped.
